From its small beginnings in Douglas County, originally formed by a group of locals as the Farmers Electrical Association, GreyStone Power Corporation has grown to become one of the largest, most respected electric cooperatives in Georgia. 2011 marks the co-op’s 75th anniversary and we are proud to share this historic milestone with our members and the communities we serve. The testimonies of powering rural America are perhaps the most singular and stunning reminder of the cooperative achievement itself. “Lighting the Way” celebrates in words and photos the generations and powerful legacy of GreyStone Power. As we honor our past, celebrate the present and define our vision for the future, we warmly invite you to join us in our journey through this treasured keepsake.
